When I started pottery in 2021, what began as an evening class quickly became my predominant practice. Immediately, I was drawn to how grounding clay feels and how it opens up space for creativity, while still feeling rewarding and productive, even on days when inspiration is hard to find.

Whether you’d like to create functional pieces for your home or as gifts, explore more conceptual ideas, or just experiment with clay, I can help you learn.

I teach both group classes and 1:1 sessions at Moseley School of Art, covering all the essentials: from wedging and throwing cylinders, to adding handles and learning standard studio practices.

“Learning pottery with Imogen has been an absolute joy. She is a fantastic teacher - super patient, very knowledgeable, and a true artist in every sense. Her passion for the craft was clear in every lesson, and she created a really supportive and inspiring space to learn and grow. Thanks to her guidance and encouragement, I’ve gained so much confidence in my own pottery journey and discovered a genuine love for creating with clay.”
